Yvon Le Maho is Emeritus Director of Research at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), University of Strasbourg and at the Scientific Center of Monaco. His main goals are to decipher and understand the physiological mechanisms which allow wild animals to cope with climate changes, to determine to which extent they are able to do so and, whenever possible, to use this new knowledge as asource of biomedical innovation. To achieve this goals, he has shown that a critical issue is to develop new methods which enable to avoid human disturbance in the investigations and therefore to get unbiased data.
