Prof. Caroline Habold is interested in the evolution of two socio-ecosystems in particular: 1) how the intensification of agricultural practices has led to the decline of a species emblematic of agricultural biodiversity, the common hamster; 2) identifying the factors favoring the proliferation of the brown rat in cities and the associated zoonotic risks, and proposing management measures to decision-makers.
