The Executive has been informally advised that the Brasilian Zoological Society wishes to hostthe 21stcongress. This is not yet confirmed. If Brazil does not confirm this, the JapaneseZoological Society has offered to host the event. Professor Dov Por (Israel) is the champion of the Brasilian application. He has been contacted regarding this, but this needs to be pursued by theExecutive, with confirmation required by the end of this month.
