The 14th International Symposium of Integrative Zoology (Third Circular)
2024-10-09

The 14thInternational Symposium of Integrative Zoology (14th ISIZ) will be held on October 22-24, 2024 in Beijing, China. The theme of this symposium is "Balancing zoological challenges with sustainable development". The symposium is organized by the International Society of Zoological Sciences (ISZS); co-hosted by Institute of Zoology (IOZ), Chinese Academy of Sciences; School of Ecology, Hainan University and Hainan Provincial Key Laboratory for One Health. The symposium is supported by China Association for Science and Technology, Bureau of Internation Cooperation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing International Science and Technology Exchange Center, International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS), and Integrative Zoology. The topic of the symposium will include all aspects of zoology, such as animal behavior, animal physiology, animal ecology, biological invasion, conservation biology, zoonotic diseases and environmental ethics.

This year is the 135thanniversary of the International Congress of Zoology (ICZ), the 20thanniversary of International Society of Zoological Sciences (ISZS) and 18thanniversary of Integrative Zoology, the official journal of ISZS. During the symposium, a photo album will be released for celebrating the milestone moment of ICZ and ISZS.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we warmly invite you to attend the 14th ISIZ.
